Each summer it is the same! I have wonderful plans – wanting to take the Gospel to many boys and girls, but how will I manage it on my own? What a challenge! Many opportunities, and few people who are willing to go. But wait? What if the reason that they are not willing is because they are not trained? Maybe if more believers knew how to take the Gospel in the open air, they would be willing to give it a try? With this thought in mind, I headed off to Sibiu, with my 4 potential helpers, to the CEF Summer Missionary Training Week. They learned how to teach a Bible lesson, prepare a programme and lots of other important tips for evangelising in the open air. We hadn’t been back home for long when I received a message – we have divided up the responsibilities, planned the programme and we are ready to go! I found myself the driver of the team – but what joy – I had 4 fully trained child evangelists, ready and willing to take the Gospel. And take it we did! Children heard about the Saviour and my team learned that with some excellent training and a firm desire to serve God, anything is possible!
